This notice describes information handled through Jeremy McDonald’s mortgage education and contact website, The Legends Mortgage Team powered by Loan Factory. Loan applications take place in the separate Loan Factory portal and follow its privacy practices.

Information you submit and its purpose

When you send an inquiry, we collect your name, reply email, selected topic and optional message so Jeremy can respond to your request. The notification also includes the page, language and an inquiry reference. Resend processes this information to deliver the inquiry to jeremy@mcdonald-mtg.com. Sending the form requests a reply; it does not create a loan application or marketing subscription. Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers or financial documents. If you contact us directly by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to share.

Jeremy AI and calculators

Jeremy AI uses DeepSeek to provide educational responses. Sending a question transmits your text, recent conversation context and selected educational website content through this website’s server to DeepSeek. Do not include contact details or personal financial information in chat. AI can make mistakes and cannot approve a loan, provide a personalized quote or send an inquiry on your behalf. To contact Jeremy, review and send the separate inquiry form. Chat and unfinished form drafts remain in page memory; the website does not save them to a chat database or browser storage. Clearing the interface does not delete information already received by email or a service provider. Payment calculations run in your browser; their inputs are not sent to the AI assistant.

Hosting, service providers and embedded media

Netlify hosts this website and runs its server functions. Website requests involve technical information such as IP addresses and request details used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. DeepSeek processes AI requests; Resend processes inquiry email delivery, and email providers process messages received in the mailbox. Embedded third-party media, including YouTube, may process browser and network information and use cookies under the provider’s own privacy practices. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s website. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measurement are not enabled for this launch. Local interaction events do not send inquiry text, contact details or calculator inputs to an external analytics service.

Retention and privacy requests

Information is retained only as necessary for the stated business purpose, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution or the applicable service provider’s operational requirements. This website does not establish a fixed retention period for email or service provider records. You may contact Jeremy with questions or requests concerning your personal information, including access, correction or deletion. Requests will be reviewed in light of applicable requirements and any obligations to retain information; clearing a chat does not guarantee deletion of provider records.
